These links may be the result of purchases, strategies, agreements or practices that are in violation of the recommendations provided by Google. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you make the appropriate changes and then resubmit your site to Google for re-evaluation*.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gulps!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/referencement-pme.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/liens-massifs.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2221 aligncenter\" title=\"Massive links\" alt=\"Inbound links  \" src=\"https:\/\/referencement-pme.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/liens-massifs.jpg\" width=\"488\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/referencement-pme.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/liens-massifs.jpg 610w, https:\/\/referencement-pme.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/liens-massifs-300x196.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>An impact felt on the positioning of the targeted sites<\/h2>\n<p>Several forum participants reacted, recounting the reception of the message and the perceived consequences on their positioning and PR.<\/p>\n<p>It is difficult, even for the people affected, to pinpoint exactly the category of <em>inappropriate<\/em> links identified. Too early to say in any case, but it seems of course that <strong>major abuses<\/strong> are punished. This is the filter for the fight against denial by the fight against over-optimization  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mass of links from the same site<\/li>\n<li>Exchange of links in <em>footer<\/em>, or <em>side bar<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Cross-links from huge<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">EU<\/span> blog networks<\/li>\n<li><em>Link farm<\/em> links<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Several workers who received the message reported their case and the immediate consequences felt<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abrupt retreat of their position (minus 5 to 7 pages)<\/li>\n<li>Pure and simple disappearance of the SERPs<\/li>\n<li>Fall of the PR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Identify the links involved<\/h2>\n<p>Of course, the people affected are of two kinds<\/p>\n<h3>Those who knowingly participated in these more or less <em>black hat<\/em> practices:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchase of links (the super-plans 1000 links for $20, 15 PR5 links for $300&#8230; etc)<\/li>\n<li>Use of automated <em>link building<\/em> tools<\/li>\n<li>Use of false identity generators, creation of profiles,<\/li>\n<li><em>To the spam referer<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Blog <em>spam<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and others<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not here to promote them, and my culture in this area is limited<\/p>\n<h3>  And those whose SEO &#8220;experts&#8221; have done it for them<\/h3>\n<p>\u2026 And this is where it gets bad, because if the former will know how to get out of it, the cheated customer will be unable to identify the extent of the quagmire in which he is stuffed.<\/p>\n<p>Because if it only takes one click to launch a <em>spamboots, <\/em> the time it will take to clean up the mess is likely to be daunting, to the point of considering a transfer of the site to a new domain name and a fresh start from scratch. By playing with fire, we end up burning ourselves. <\/p>\n<h2>What about cleaning?<\/h2>\n<p>As Jill, an administrator of the site, aptly says, &#8220;Who are you going to ask to clean? Are you going to trust the guy who did this to you for this job? \u2026 You&#8217;d better sue him in court\/justice! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not going to play here by rewriting the whole discussion, read it in its original version, it&#8217;s worth an article in its own right.<br \/>\nI just wanted <strong>to remind my client friends<\/strong> of the merits of <strong>proper referencing<\/strong> and point out to them that about forty links on well-worked text anchors do not risk any sanction and ensure a sustainability that Google will not question.<\/p>\n<p>The rules don&#8217;t change, they&#8217;re known&#8230; It is the means of detection that are improving.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you hired a <em>black hat<\/em> provider?  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you consult your <em>webmaster tool<\/em> ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you in Europe?&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And if you started cleaning before the filter was applied in your home, at least you have the chance to be warned.<\/p>\n<p>The comments for this article are <em> following<\/em>, they are welcome and wide <strong>open to human connections<\/strong> !<\/p>\n<p>Here is the original text received by the sites concerned.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Dear site owner or webmaster of <\/em><em>http:\/\/www.yoursite.com\/<\/em><em>, We&#8217;ve detected that some of your site&#8217;s pages may be using techniques that are outside Google&#8217;s Webmaster Guidelines.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Specifically, look for possibly artificial or unnatural links pointing to your site that could be intended to manipulate PageRank.
